Casey is a 2nd degree black belt and a senior instructor at Family Black Belt Academy. She has been practicing martial arts for 8 years and first earned her black belt in Shorin-Ryu Seibukan Karate, where she began instructing students of all ages and learned that she loves to teach as much as she loves to train. She is also certified by the Society of American Fight Directors in theatrical stage combat for unarmed and broadsword choreography. She received a B.F.A. in theater from Cornish College and strives to keep her lessons as entertaining as they are educational.
