Master Thammarat is a 5th degree black belt with 35+ years of martial arts experience and 20+ years of martial arts teaching experience. He came to us all the way from Thailand and if you spend 30 seconds watching him teach, you will see his love for what he does! He trained an average of 200 students per week when he lived in Thailand and a number of those students made the Thai National Team. He himself was also a Thai National Competitor in Tae Kwon Do.
When Master Thammarat first came to our studio nearly ten years ago, he barely spoke any English. But Master Purcell was amazed at how well he taught even with the language barrier. Master Thammarat would simply get the kids to focus on his body movements and get them mimicking his motions. Master Thammarat is an Olympic quality international Tae Kwon Do coach and referee, and is a phenomenal instructor.
